Why a silicone baking mat?
When comparing nonstick silicone baking mats remember that size really makes a difference. Our large half sheet size baking mat as seen above measures 11-5/8” X 16-1/2”. inches. Many companies offer as a comparative mat measuring only 16 1/2” x 11”. Why is this important? Our slightly larger baking mat offers the same non-stick surface but the larger size covers the baking pan more thoroughly. This larger coverage means less surface of the baking pan that requires cleaning.
